August 12-15, 2008 Tuscaloosa, Alabama This is an intensive
workshop designed for the beginning/moderate artist to the professional,
with instructional work designed for each experience level. This is a
class on how to paint a landscape in studio. There will be personal
instruction and class exercises to show you how to build a solid
foundation in your painting at the start of your painting and to finish
expressively and capture the true essence of the subject.
Class exercises will cover seeing color, value, shape, form and composition. You will learn valuable tools on how to gather information to produce a large studio painting. You will learn how to make creative decisions in the studio. There will also be individual critiques, and group critiques. Color mixing demo, painting Demos and a slide show.
